Wow!! It has really been a very long time since I have updated!!! Well, I haven't had internet and then my computer went down! Then I tried to update at my mom's and her computer is soooo slooowwww! But now I have a new laptop and will update as often as I can get WiFi!!! =)

Well, as for Cody....my crazy little 12 year old!! he sure is getting the teenage attitude!! That is for sure!! But overall he is still a good kid!! He is still having weight issues! We found a new dietician who did wonders with him! We had him up to 60 pounds but then he developed diarrarea and had it for almost 3 months! Now he is back down to 55 pounds!! He is only on his pump at night! So he is primarily eating regular food during the day!! Some days is better than others! Sometimes he eats alot nd some days he eats like a bird!! Who knows with him! He is still in therapy! But now it is mostly to help him with some school issues he is having!! He did ok in school but he is still kind of far behind! Hard to believe he is going into 6th grade!! Middle school!! That is crazy!!! He is excited but I am nervous!! I did talk to lot of the teachers and we got his schedule pretty much down so I feel a little better about it! We will see how it goes!!

Overdue Update...

Wow...I cannot believe how long it has been since I have updated! October was very busy for us! We had the Haunted Hill and Cody had lots of things going on at school! It was very exhausting and very busy! So I will try to update on things now as I can remember them! =)

Cody is doing awesome! He had an afterschool program at school all through October and he loved it! He is also in D.A.R.E. and his graduation is next week! He is getting so big! He won 4 bowling patches at league on Saturday! He was so proud of himself!! I am soo proud of him too! He has gained more weight. Last time we went he was 57.4 pounds and the dietician told him if he got to 58 pounds she would get him a toy. Well, we went last week and he totally by passed 58 and went straight to 59 pounds! Woohoo!! He has never gained weight this good. So the dietician gave him $20. He is doing so good. He is doing better in school. He is still struggling a little bit! They had his Halloween party on Friday. It was fun. We went on a field trip to Civil War days and it was okay. We got to hang around with Angie and Maikailee! So that was fun! I took him trick or treating Friday. He was going to be Iron Man but we bought his costume a little early and since he gained weight and grew an inch, he outgrew it so I got him Hulk and he looked so cute! So he is doing great!!

I am doing good. My sugars have been running kind of low. I am still losing weight. People have noticed except my family. Arron bought me exercise equipment for Christmas and I have been working out as much as I can. Arron and I worked at the Haunted Hill the whole month of October and it was fun! We scared alot of people and made lots of money. It was very busy and very tiring! Arron has been working with his cousin to make extra money to help out! So he has been busy too! So we have been doing good and doing lots of things!

I am so ticked off at Cody's therapy right now. =( Things are very tight for us right now since we got the new truck and we knew they would be. Well, Cody is on schloarship at therapy because Medicaid won't pay for it or so we thought. Now I have been paying our co-pay which is $50 every month since April. Then they started sending it back to me because Medicaid decided they were going to pay!! WTF? So last month I decided not to pay because Medicaid has been paying. Well, they called today and want last month's and this month's payment!! I don't have it. I have half but that was my grocery money and gas money for the week! I think it is so stupid because I will just get it back in 2 weeks which is good but why should I pay in the first place. I am honestly at the point where I don't know if Cody needs it anymore. What are they doing for him? But then I don't want to take him out if he really needs it! I am just so frustrated because I am struggling to pay bills and now this!! Aghhhhhh..........

Well, Cody went to the dietician on Wednesday. He is up to 56.8 lbs. He gained 4 ounces but at least it's a gain. He is 59 1/2 inches tall. He has grown almost a whole inch since August! No wonder I can't find him any pants. =) She wants to see him in 2 weeks. And is getting him another toy when he hits 58 pounds. At this rate it shouildn't be too long! He is doing great. He loves his afternoon school program. I have been having trouble with him bringing his homework home so that is something I am going to have to address with his teacher. It is just so frustrating! Anywho overall he is doing great!!

I am doing alright. My sugars are doing good. I went to the dentist and my teeth are in good condition minus one small cavity that I have to have filled next week. Not looking forward to that because I have never had it done. But I am walking on my new treadmill almost everyday! So I am doing ok! I really need to watch what I eat better. I have been slacking alot!! =( So that is my October goal. I made Arron get a physical just because he is getting older. He is fine and he has to have blood work done just to make sure everything is good. He is getting frustrated with work but he always does around hunting season. He will be ok.

As for the whole babysitting thing...I told them I would do it 1-2 days a week because her grandma is going to do it but she can't all the time because her grandpa had a stroke and isn't doing very well. He said he would pay me cash. We shall see. I am just too nice of a person and can't say no.

We start the Haunted Hill tonight. Arron is in it and he is excited. I just walk the people back. It is so fun to watch their expressions and see how different they all react!! I am excited. But I will update again when I have more.

I am just really ticked off right now!! Arron has this friend and I am beginning to really not like him!! He is a user and I am getting tired of it. He is trying to use me as his own personal babysitter and I am so over it. He got mad because he called Thursday at 7, 30 minutes before he wanted me to watch the baby. I was with my dad. He was mad. I am not going to jump just because you want me to. Now it's Friday night and we told Cody no kids. Well, guess what? We have his other daughter! His girlfriend is sick and he has to work tomorrow and he didn't want to leave the daughter with the girlfriend? WTF? Really! So now I had to rearrange my plans just so he can have his way. I am just about sick of it. I mean it was like if Arron had a kid and got it every other weekend and I was sick and passed it off to somebody else. That isn't right. That is all part of it. Your with somebody you have to take care of their kid too even if you don't feel like it!! I am just furious right now and needed to vent!

But on a good note...Cody gained more weight!! Woohoo. We are at 56.4 pounds. I am so glad we are finally headed the right direction!!!

I am really getting bad at updating my blog! Things have been kind of busy around here and my computer was down for a few days. It seems like I am always on the go and never at home very much and it just wears me out! So I will try to update more.

First, I will update on Cody!! Where do I even start. We had a visit with the dietician on Wednesday. He has gained another pound. He is up to 55.6! Woohoo!!! I feel like doing backflips. We have eliminated his 6pm feeding and put it in with his overnight feeding and he has done really well with it. He loves having the free time to play outside and do whatever he wants. We have also eliminated his 8am feeding at school and replaced it with Duocal. It is a powder that just gives extra calories. He still does the 8am feeding on weekends because he is in bed. He loves not having to take his pump to school. We have to meet her again to make sure he hasn't lost any weight. But hopefully we are on the right track. Now the only time he is on his pump is 3pm and overnight. He is loving it! I like her because she is not force feeding him orally just adding extra calories to what he is eating. I do give him extra when he does eat orally but unlike the people we have seen in the past she isn't pushing him and he likes that!!! He is doing pretty well in school! I can't get use to all his new teachers. I am confused because he hasn't brought home any homework and the resource teacher said he is getting it done so I guess I won't worry. I have already been to the principal about some bullies and he took care of it. Cody absolutely loves riding the bus. He is getting so big. He is also staying after school on Thursdays and some Tuesdays for an after school program that is called afternoon rocks. He really likes staying after and they are learning all kinds of things. So my little guy is getting to be so big. Where has the time gone.

I am doing ok. I went to the female doctor last week and according to them I have lost 44 pounds. WOW!!! I couldn't believe it. I am trying so hard. Arron is sitting me up a little workout station in the garage and going to get me a treadmill. I am very excited. My sugars are still doing good. I just feel better overall. Arron is doing good. Loving his new truck!! He is going to the doctor Monday because his toe is infected. I am also making him get a full physical next month. I figure I have to so he does too. :>) He agreed. So overall we are all doing good. My dad had surgery 2 weeks ago so I have been helping them and he is doing ok. He is stil sore but overall doing ok. I am just happy with the my life right now. It seems like everything is going well for a change.

I cannot believe how long it has been since I have updated my blog!! So much has went on! Where do I even start!!

OK...I will start with Cody. He is doing good in school. They switched his teacher to Mrs. Crouch because she is the only one that has an aide and the other one didn't. She is a little bit meaner than his original one but he is doing ok. He is hardly ever in there because he goes to the resource room to do most of his work! I have been having trouble with him eating all of his food so I think we are going to have to have a meeting about that! I can't have him not eating because he isn't on his pump at school either. I am a little frustrated about it! He decided he wanted to ride the bus and so now he is and he has to ride the little bus because he is a risk on the regular bus. But he loves it. He has to get up very early but he is enjoying it. He is growing up to fast! Our new dietician is going well. We almost have him off his 6:00 feeding. He started the new meds she wanted him on and he has gained a pound and a half in 2 weeks. Maybe we are finally on the right track!!! We have to meet her Wednesday at McDonalds for a weight check and she is buying him a happy meal!! So overall he is doing good.

As for me...I am back on my good anti-depressant. And I am starting to feel good again. My diabetic check-up went very well. My A1C was 6.4 and 3 months ago it was 8.6. So my diabetes is doing very well. My cholesterol os a little high. But otherwise I am doing great. I am starting to walk again. I have lost 22 pounds according to their scale and 25 according to mine! So I am still going down so that is good!! I have to go back in 3 months!!

Otherwise, we are doing really good. Arron got a new truck. So he is very excited. I am so happy for him. But I will update when I have more to talk about.

Cody's physical...

I took Cody in for his 11 year old physical on Wednesday. I cannot beliee he is 11 years old! Where has the time gone? My little boy is growing up way too fast! Overall, the physical went well. He is 9 inches tall and weighs 52 1/2 pounds. Yes he lost his half pound that he gained!! But for his height, his weight is good. But for his age, neither one is good!!! We talked about some of his feding issues. since the dietician wanted to increase his applesauce and I did to 3 big teaspoons which is a half cup more he has had tummy trobles and diareha! Dr. Hughes said give it more days and see what happens. Plus I increased his nighttime feeding rate. I guess I shouldn't have done it all at one time! He had to have 2 shots and we changed his buton while we were there. So not a very good appointment! Dr.Hughes was ok with the dieticians ideas and I honestl can't wait to get started. I just hope his tummy is ok with all of it!!

Cody started school Tuesday. My big 5th grader! Wednesday we switched teachers and of course he had to go to the worst one possible. I am hoping it is all a myth and she turns out really nice. I hear the worse you are the meaner she is. So hopefully Cody will do ok because he isn't that bad! He likes the new class. He said he was nervous the first day but he seems ok now!

I am very upset with my doctors office. I tried all last week to call them about my Paxil and no one ever called me back! So Monday they called and said after my bloodwork on Tuesday it should be alright to swith back to my Celexa! So that's what I did and I slept so good. They called me back on Wednesday and said they wanted me to stay on the Paxil until my appointment with her next Wednesday or see someone else. Grrrrr.....why would I want to see some one else when she knows my history! So now I am back on Paxil and not sleeping and hitting Arron because I toss and turn all night and I have nightmares and feel like crap the next day! So wednesday she better switch it because I cannnot stand to feel like this anymore!!!! Otherwise my sugars are doing ok and everything else. I guess that is all the updates for now!!

Again with Cody's weight issues. I feel like a broken record. Anyway. Dr. hughes increased his formula last week and we went in for a weight check today. He gained half a pound and is at 53 pounds. We also were recommended to this dietician who specializes in feeding disorders and feeding issues and autistic kids. Let me just say that this woman is wonderful!!! She is so willing to help and not force things on us like other people. She is putting him on two different medicines to help with his GI system. And she is willing to work with his tube feedings and not just take them away. Cody is excited and so am I. I think she is really going to help and she is not just focused on his oral intake but truly worried about his weight problems! So hopefully the light at the end of our very looonnnggg tunnel is getting brighter!!

As for me, my antidepressant is NOT working. It makes me sleepy but I sleep very rough and have nightmares and I had hallucianations the other night and then I feel like sh** the next day! I am depressed eating again and don't want to do anything. I have tried to call the doctor's office for 2 days and she will not call me back. I am getting very frustrated and I am very TIRED. I was supposed to go back to the doctor Friday but they changed it to the 20th. Grrrrrrrr!Otherwise things are good. My dad goes to the doctor tomorrow to see if he has surgery on his neck. I hope it all goes well. Arron has been working ALOT!! This is his busy season with all the college rentals and he has been working 14-16 hours a day. We miss seeing him but at least it only lasts 2 weeks!!

I really hate being on state assisitance! I think it sucks. The whole process sucks!!I applied for food stamps because everyone else is getting them. Well, they totally denied us!! And the kicker is that we are like $300 over the amount you can make. The worst part is that once you get over their gross amount that they allow, they don't even take in to consideration the bills and rent and gas money and grocery money that you pay out. You make that amount so who cares what you send out! Bullsh**! And you know there were people in there today that didn't even need them. You know how much money we have left in a month after paying all of our bills? $356. That is for the month and that doesn't even include gas and groceries. It kills me that they don't even look at that! The good thing that came out of the whole stinking appointment was that Cody's Disability Medicaid is still is process. Woohoo! They told Cody's therapists that they didn't even have any record of me applying so that was good! But I am still bummed. Just when we try to get ahead and do things right we always get bit in the butt!! I am so sick and tired of it! I am still waiting for Arron's mom to give me some of the money that she made us go in debt for! Like $700 she owes me. That ticks me off too! So I went and borrowed some more money so I could pay some medical bills that I was going to pay until she screwed me all up!!! Life sucks sometimes.

Cody's doctor finally called back and we are going to increase his formula by 10% and go back for a weight check in 7 days and see and then probably increase it some more. I think eventually we might have to change his formula but at least we are trying something! So I guess we shall see!!

Feeling overwhelmed...

I am just feeling overwhelmed like there has been so much going on and I can't catch a break! Things around here have been very busy! We are having a tattoo party this weekend! We have had alot of people in and out of our house and boy am I tired! I have had a house full of boys
the last few days and let's just say I need a vacation from children! Cody has had fun and that's all that matters but I need a good long nap!!! I registered him for school and was pretty happy with the teacher choice although it wasn't the one we chose. And then I hear that that the teacher he is getting is leaving so I had to go back in and talk to the principal and make sure the new one was a good choice. Our only other option was the one we had wanted but there is a girl in there that I don't want Cody with. But he said the new choice would be ok and if not we would fix it. The principal is awesome and very helpful. So we shall see. I am kind of nervous because we are mainstreaming him but I think he woll do fine. It is kind of sad that this is the last year of his elementary career! He is getting too big!

I took him in for his monthly weight check and it didn't go very well at all. He only gained a half of a pound in a month. His doctor is not very happy. I am still waiting on him to call me back and decide what to do. It is all very frustrating because I am giving him extra everything and there is no reason he shouldn't be gaining weight! Extra food and formula. What is going on? I tried to call the dietician to get an appointment and waiting on her although the last dietician didn't hellp at all. Just frustrating and I at my wit's end!

I am doing better. My sugars have stayed down. I go next week for bloodwork and then the next week for the doctor for my diabetes check up and to see if they can find anything with my liver. That is so frustrating too! I guess I am just overwhelmed with Cody's issues and my issues and bills and school and so on and so on....I need a nap.

OMG...where do I even begin! I'll start with Cody since this is his blog. LOL! He is doing very well. Luckily he has been well this summer! His finger is still swollen from where he jammed it but he says it doesn't hurt. He is still doing well with his eating! Our weight check is next Tuesday so hopefully he has gained. We saw some people from school and they said he looks like he has grown a foot! I hope and pray he has gained!! We shall see!! Otherwise he is doing great!

However, this past week for Arron and I has been a total disaster!!! Well, Arron's mom sent us a check like 3 weeks ago to help with our rent. We cashed it and thought everything was fine and kept spending our money like we normally would. Well, last Wednesday Arron's debit card was denied so I called the bank and we were in the negative $755. I was pissed. We first thought his work check had bounced. So we went to the bank and it was the check she had wrote us and the whole time we thought there was money in there, there wasn't!! So she sent us $400 but that didn't even make a dent. By the thime it was all said and done she ended up costing us $1040. And only gave us $400. We borrowed money off Arron's boss to help fix it but it is so aggravating!! We have had this account for almost 9 years and never been overdrawn and now we have been twice in the last 3 weeks!! Becasue of other people's stupidity! I had just went to the credit union on Wednesday to borrow some money and pay off some bills and thought we were getting back on track and then BAM! She screws us over!! I should be use to it by now but boy was I a fool!! So I paid off most of the bills I wanted but still have a couple!! It is so frustrating! So hopefully she will send us the rest and I can get things back to normal!! I have learned to not take personal checks from Anyone. Epecially family!!

Otherwise things are good. We are going to the fair this week because there are 3 derbies! Yeah and its not supposed to rain!! I am going to register Cody at school tomorrow and go clothes shopping! Can't believe how close it is! My big 5th grader!! :>(

I am getting so sick of going to the doctor, dietician, health educator, and having my blood drawn! It is so frustrating and nerve racking. I went back to the doctor today to get results from all the last blood tests she done! Well, all of them came back normal but she failed to check my liver enzymes again!! What? Then how do you know if they are still high or if they have went down!! Grrrr....so frustrating!! She said she is baffled because everything is coming back normal. Well, isn;t that a good thing? So now I have to have blood drawn in 3 weeks and go back to her for a liver recheck and my 3 months diabetes check in 1 month!! I feel like I live at that place!! She did change my anti-depressant because she thought maybe that was contributing!! Who knows? I just wish it was all over with and I could get back to somewhat normal! I went to the dieticain yesterday. She says I am doing very well and I have lost 3 more pounds!! Woohoo!! she told me to keep up the great work!! I really need to start walking again! And I will be doing good!!

Busy,busy,busy...

I feel like things have been so busy around here!! We spent all last week getting ready for our 4th of July party! So I feel like I have been running ragged!! Our party went very well. We had about 30 people or so!! Some of the ones that said they would come didn't but it happens every year!! It was alot of fun. The fireworks went very well and my hair didn't catch on fire this time like last year! LOL!! All in all it was worth it although we are flat broke now!! Cody did jam his finger. It is swollen and bruised. He was getting off his bike and fell to the grund and jammed it. Thankfully, we have an RN next door and she checked it because I really didn't feel like spending the 4th in the ER!! It looks better today but I may take him to the doctor tomorrow just to be sure!!!

My sister did pay me back the $30 but now I am out the charges. It still kind of aggravates me but she did it too my mom too! she texted me today and said that her church was having a miracle/healing service and felt that I needed to go! What? I don't think so besides that is the day that I am having my tattoo party! So, sorry about ya!! I went to her church one time and I don't really think I will be going back!!

I have been feeling pretty good lately. I get really tired by the afternoon but I think that is just the anemia. My sugars have been doing pretty good and I am trying to get back on my diet and start walking again!! I go back to the doctor Tuesday and hopefully my liver tests came back alright!! So, maybe I am back on the right track! I have to go to the dietician tomorrow and hopefully I have lost weight or at least not gained any!! :>) We shall see!! I got my other tattoo on my back! It is a dolphin with Cody's name in Japenese letters. I like it but some of my friends don't!! Oh well. The next one will be on top of my foot. Ouch!! Although the one on my back hurt like he**!! So who knows!

Cody has been eating very good to fill up his chart!! I hope he has gained weight! Some of the shorts we bought him we had to roll the waist down and now they fit!! I thought it was because we had washed them but it was like that with the new pair. So I hope that is a good sign that he is gaining!! Otherwise, he is doing very well!! Except his finger. He didn't even cry!! He also lost 2 teeth and didn't cry and now he has a new molar coming in. My little boy is growing up!

I feel like a polly parrot but my landlord is at it again!! I couldn't send her the rent money that Arron's mom gave us because I had to put it in my checking account because it was screwed up because my sister had given me a check that bounced and it screwed my account all up and ended up costing me $72. So I am mailing it out tomorrow!! Well she called and asked where it was so I just told her it was in the mail!! Then she asked how I was! I was thinking like she cares!! She asked how my sugars were and all I said was they are up and down! She said well I guess you don't want to talk to me and she hung up!! WTF?? It is so frustrating!! She never hassled my brother and sister like this and she calls them about everyday just to chit chat with them! Ugh.....I so wish I could move but I just know that I can't!! :>( I wish I had the ba**s to tell her off but I really don't want to live on the street! What do you do?

Then my rummage slae sucked today. I was hoping to make some extra money but it was raining and it was awful!! It just seems like nothing is going right!!!

I just feel like going to bed and crying for days!!! Where do I even begin? Let me first start with Cody. He is still eating pretty well and taking his extra bites like he is supposed to! He ate 6 alfredo noodles and a whole breadstick at Olive Garden yesterday! I was so proud of him! So hopefully we are on the right rack to gain weight!!! :>)

Now for me...I went back to the doctor yesterday. They still cannot find anything wrong with my liver. All of my tests are coming back fine. So I had to have more bloodwork today and she said I might have togo see a specialist if those come back ok. I don't really see the need in seeing one because wht are they going to do that they haven't already done? It is all just so frustrating!!! I did tell her about the sugar medicine and she lowered the dose so hopefully that will help me to feel better! She also put me on iron pills because apparently I am more anemic then what she thought!!! So I guess it is good news that they can't find anything wrong with my liver and I hope that this blood test comes back and my liver enzymes have come way down!!

Now I am stressed because my checking account is ALL screwed up and it is overdrawn!! I thought I had it fixed but I guess not!! It is soo aggravating. Just when you think you are back on track you get hit head on!! I just wish life would settle down and tings get back to my normal because I am so tird of all of this!!!

I got a call from Cody's therapy today! We are in the process of switching his Medicaid over to a different kind! Well I have already filled out the application and had a phone interview and they sent papers for the doctor! Well they had the wrong case on Cody's file. They said they would take care of it and call me back. I haven't heard anything! So the therapy placed had someone call and check on it and they said they don't have anything on it!! What? So now I have to start all over!!! Grrrrrrr.....how frustrating!!!! So now I have to call and refill out everything and it just ticks me off!! But that lady that started all of this is trying to find us some help to pay the $50 a month they we are having to pay right now so that would help! So I guess we shall see what happens!

I had my eye exam today and he said they looked good although I had to get glasses because I have astigmatism in both eyes! But I can see so much better now!! Cody is doing good. He is still eating very well. His allergies are really bothering him!! But otherwise he is good. I have to go to the doctor tomorrow and I will update after that!!

Every since I have been diagnosed diabetic, the health educator wants me to have my eyes checked and go to the dentist and keep up on my feet! Well, Arron puts lotion on my feet about every night. I am going to the dentist in September and they base in on our income which is good! I applied for this eyesight program where they give you a free eye exam and glasses if needed (which I do). They called today and I was approved and I go Monday! I am so excited because I seriously need my glasses! Things are going pretty well considering all the sh** my landlady put me through the other day! I haven't heard back from her so that is a good thing!!

As for Mr. Cody! He has been doing very well on his extra feeding schedule. Sometimes he even goes above and beyond his extra 3 bites. I just hope he keeps it up. I am so proud of him! One of my ladies from my favorite website (P2P) told me that she would give him a big prize at the end of the month and a small one at the end of each week just to add more motivation!! So I think I will do that!! He is really into the cars from the Cars movies so I could get him one of those each week because they are cheap enough!! My little man!!

Grrrrr....I am so p.o.ed. My landlord is on the rampage again. She is griping agian that I am so far behind on the rent which is just NOT true!!! I haven't mailed June's yet because of all my other bills and plus now all of my doctor and medicine bills which I thought she understood because she called and told me she would help me out! HA!! I realize everyone has to pay rent and nothing is free but we are talking about a close family member and she keeps going back and forth! One minute it is ok and the next it isn't!! Ridiculous!! So Arron called his mom and asked to borrow the money just so we could calm her down and his mom actually came through for us! So Arron called the land lady to tell her that she would have it next week and then July's wouldn't be too far behind it and that just wasn't good enough for her!! She told him we had to start paying all the other and that she didn't want to talk to him she wanted to talk to me! She told my mom that she could rent it out for more than what were paying! WTF? Are you going to evict your own family member that has a special needs child? How heartless!!! My brother and his wife lived here for I don't know how long and NEVER paid rent. She said she didn't want a repeat of that! WHAT? At least I have an excuse! They just didn't work! And of the 9 years I have been living in this house I have missed maybe 6 months rent out of 9 years. I think that is pretty damn good!! I am so upset almost to the point where I want to leave and never talk to her again!! I am going to the bank tomorrow to get all my cancelled checks for her from the last 2 years so I can prove to her how far behind I truly am and then maybe she will shut the hell up!!! Every other of my family members said that if they owned it they would let us live here for the property tax amount and insurance which isn't that much!! Why does she treat me this way? Now I truly know where I stand! I don't want to move because I love this house and it has a lot of childhood memories but she is just really pushing me!!Grrrrrr...I so do not need this with all that I am going through!! I just want to scream!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, I will update on Cody since this is his blog! :>) Well, I took him to the doctor yesterday and he hadn't lost any weight but he hadn't gained any either!! So that is good!! We have to go back to the doctor in one month for another weight check. Our plan is to everytime he eats orally, which is 4 times a day, he has to take 3 extra bites. We were doing 2 bites! His thereapists made him a chart and if he eats his extra bites every day he gets a sticker. At the end of the month if his chart is full, they are going to buy him a werestling toy! They are such great people!!! If he doesn't gain any weight we are going to talk about a different formula with more calories and more volume through his tube!! I am releived we have some kind of plan in place and hopefully it works! It is just hard to get him to take extra bites when half the time he doesn't want to take any!!!! But so far he is doing pretty good. :>)

Now an update on me...I went to the doctor today and she didn't want to see me because I haven't had my ultrasound yet!! Grrr....so tomorrow I have to go have the ultrasound and don't go back to the doctor until Tuesday. That sucks because this new sugar medicine has me all screwed up!! I have had so many low ones and they make me feel pretty bad!! But I am going to fight it out and see what happens. I thought my anti-depressant wasn't working because for like 4 or 5 days I was exhausted and couldn't hardly bring myself to get up. Things were getting on my nerves very easily and I was very depressed. I haven't felt that way for a while!! But I think it was because I was worried about my liver and the new sugar medicine was making me feel weird because yesterday I felt better than I had for days!!! So I don't know!! They did tell me at the doctor that all my bloodwork and tests they did came back negative which is wonderful. Although I am anemic...hello I have been that way for years!!! So I will post again when I know something!!!

Again, I know this blog is about Cody but I just feel miserable!! My sugars are still running low. I am tired . I am depressed. And my nerves are just shot!! I am wondering if my anti-depressant is working!! I know I am stressed about my liver and now my sugars but I haven't felt this way since before I started taking the anti-depressant! So my doctor and I are going to have a nice long chat!! I was doing so well and now I am miserable again and I DON'T like it!!! :>(

Cody has to go to the doctor tomorrow! He is probably going to get his tube changed and we are talking about all his weight issues! Plus he has started his sneezing and red eyes. Hello allegy season!! So I guess we shall see what happens tomorrow!! I will update as soon as I can!!

My sugars have been out of control!! She switched my medicine and they have gotten very low and I feel like crap!! It got down to 69 which I know isn't very low but when your used to running 100-130's, that is low!! I get shaky and weak and get a headache! I am documenting all of it and I am going to talk to her about it Wednesday! They haven't gotten my bloodwork back yet so I still don't know anything!! I wish I could just get it all under control and get back to my routine! And Arron kind of makes me!! He qiut chewing tobacco probably about 6 or 7 months ago! Well he says he is so stressed that he needed to start again!! :>( Well, how do you think I feel? What am I supposed to do? I know he is going through it with me but it is actually happening to me I should be more stressed than him! It is just frustrating!!!!

What else could happen? I went to the doctor yesterday and can I just say ugh....I had bloodwork done on Monday since my liver levels were so high! Then I had to go back to the doctor yesterday!! Well she is just baffled as to why my levels are so high!! I have no symptoms and my hepatitis came back negative!! The only thing the CBC showed was that I am anemic. Duh!! I have known that for years!! So then I had to have more bloodwork and now I have to go have an ultrasound and I have to go back to the doctor next Wednesday!! I am waiting for the results of the bloodwork. She said I could have Hepatitis A which I could have picked up from anywhere. I am so confused! I just wish I could find out so I could quit worrying!! She also switched my sugar medicine! I just started taking it today and before I took it, my sugar was 99. It has been running low today and we ate at Carlos O Kelleys and I just took it and it was 86 and I was shaking and lightheaded!! It has not been that low for a very long time!! What is going on? I am about sick of all this crap! :>( Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I am so baffled!! I took Cody to therapy today and they decided to weigh him because they know of all the weight issues he has been having!! OMG...he weighed 52 pounds! WTF!! So I decided to take him upstairs to the doctor;s office and get him weighed there since that is where we usually get weighed...he weighed 52 and 3/4 pounds! WTF again!! How in the world did he go from 50.6 to 52 and 3/4 pounds in one week? He has never gained that much weight that fast...EVER!!! I am so baffled right now! So I am going to keep track here at home and the therapists are going to keep track and so is the doctor and hopefully it will all stay about the same!! I just don't think last weeks weight was a true weight!! Si I made an appointment for next week because I think his tube needs changed and we are going to discuss some weight issues as well! Now I am anxious to see what the scale says next week!! How confusing and baffling!!

I go tomorrow to see the doctor! I am nervous!! I hope it is nothing serious but I guess if it was she would have wanted to see me sooner! I had bloodwork on Monday!! They did a hepiatitis, an AIDS and a CBC!! Hopefully it was just to rule out things!! I am very scared but hopefully it will go alright!! I will update tomorrow when I get done!! My sugars have been kind of high lately and I don't know why!! I have been doing everything they tell me and watching what I eat. I am so confused about all of this and Cody...too much stress!!

I know I have been complaining alot lately but I am just feeling so overwhlemed!! With all of Cody's new issues and now all of my new issues it is just too much and now we are having some major financial trouble. By the time I pay the bills that have to be paid or they will be disconnected and get gas in both vehicles there isn't anything left!! Then I ask myself should we all be on a bowling league but then I think that that is family time and Cody enjoys it so much and since he can't play other sports...I think it is so worth it!! Now I am going to have to be late on the rent again because I have to get license plates and go to the doctor twice and my heating bill was $233 and I had to pay the electric and water or else we would be sitting in the dark with no water! I guess I am just going to have to listen to my landlord bi*** once again but I can't help it that I have new health issues come up. I am doing the best that I can!! It is just overwhelming!! I feel like I am drowning!! I can't not wait until I find out what is going on with me and with Cody and then maybe I won't be so overwhelmed!

I just got a call from my doctor's office about the bloodwork I had done last week!! They want me to have more bloodwork done because my liver enzymes are very elevated!! That is scary!!! :>( Plus I have to go see the doctor next week to!! I am terrified. Just when I thought things were under control...BAM!! Why me? I'm not supposed to be sick!! My cholesterol is high too but they said to control it through diet and exercise which I am already doing!! I am also anemic which I am controlling with multi-vitamins!! OMG!! I am so nervous!!! I wish I could just fast forward to next week and get it over with!!! Aghhhh..........

I am just blah!! I am kind of tired and just exhausted!! I cleaned my whole room out yesterday including closets and under the bed and dresser drawers. I am having a rummage at the end of the month and am trying to declutter my life!! Than after I did all that and picked up the house and watched 3 boys and cooked dinner me and my 2 friends walked 2.5 miles! I guess that is why I am so tired today! I am doing Cody's room Monday...talk about a job!!! But bring it on!! I have more energy now than I have for a very long time so I am actually getting some things done!! If only I could get rid if the pain in my neck! It has been there for a little while!!! I have been trying to walk every day! We walked pretty far the other day! But my friend Beverly has been so busy so I started walking with Cassy but half the time she punks out on me!!! So last night I walked with Angie and Renea!! I have some awesome friends!!! And an even more awesome husband!! I did get my labwork back and I have high cholesterol and something with my liver and I am anemic so now I have to wait and talk to the doctor and see what we are going to do!!!

As for Cody, I am still trying to stuff him! I just don't know what else to do!! I am waiting for his doctor to call me back. I guess I am going to have to make an appointment to remind him!! His tube needs changed anyway or at least some water added!! I am a big weinee where his tube is concerned!!! I am just worried sick about this whole weight thing!! I am nervous about what we are going to have to do and what is to come! Otherwise he is doing pretty well!!! He has been having friends over about everyday and playing outside and today we went to see Kung Fu Panda. It was pretty good. So I guess I will update latter when I have more news!!

OMG!!! Where do I even begin...well, first my dad went to the ER on Sunday and they kept him over night. He was having chest pains for 2 days before he told anyone!! So they did all kinds of bloodwork, 4 EKGs, and a stress test!! All of his tests looked good and they said he may have pulled a muscle or something like that! Well, he went to the doctor today and now he has to go to a cardiologist and they arre going to do a dye test!! So I am stressed about that!! I don't know what I would do without my daddy!!!

Then today I took Cody for his weight check!! I have been giving him extra calories and extra formula. The verdict...50 pounds 6 ounces!!! Yet another loss!!! :>( WTF!! I am so frustrated!! I don't know what to do!! Well, his doctor said he would call me and we would decide what we are going to do!! But there was a lady there and she was Cody's First Steps Coordinator when he was 2 and 3. She put her two cents in and said we needed to see some type of specialists!! Well I will do anything at this point to just get him a weight gain for once!!So I will wait for his doctor to call and go from there!! I think he needs a different formula and more calories but I just don't know what is going to happen. It is just frustrating and I am concerned because I don't want him to get any sicker!!I just don't know!! He is trying new foods again and enjoying them!! It has helped that he is back in therapy but he needs to gain some weight!!

I went to the dietician today!!! I lost another 2 and 1/2 pounds!! Woohoo!! She set me up a carb schedule and told me some do's and don'ts. I have to go back to her in a month! We have a few goals to meet before then!!! I am kind of excited but it is frustrating trying to count the carbs and all that!! But I am excited that I have lost that much weight!! By their scale it is 17 pounds according to mine 21 pounds!!! I am excited!! My nighbor has been walking with me the last couple of days. Yesterday we walked 3.5 miles. We were talking and just kept going and going!! I was so excited!!!

I guess that is all for now. I will update as soon as I hear from his doctor!! Hopefully something will be done and soon!!

I am getting kind of worried about Cody's weight check next week!! It was supposed to be this week but since he is out of school I decide to take this week to fatten him up or at least try to!! He just looks so skinny!! I think he has gotten taller!! I just don't know!! He has been eating some goosd things!! Peanut butter an butter sandwiches. Hershey's bars which he asked for and I could not believe he actually ate!!! I hope it is beneficial because I don't know what will happen if he hasn't gained! I just can't figure out why he isn't! I give him extra formula and extra food!! Baffling to me!! Too much stress...

I think we are getting a new home health care company!! I am so sick of Apria!! and a guy Arron knows works at this other company and he already gave us a portable nebulizer so I am kind of excited about it!! I am going to try to get him to givew us a smaller pump than the one he has!! So we shall see. I have to make sure he can get us all of Cody's supplies that we get from Apria!!! Who knows??

Ok I know that this is supposed to be a blog about Cody but I feel better talking about my health issues too so if ya all get tired of hearing about me, I am sorry!! I went to the health educator yesterday and she said I was doing remarkably well and she couldn't understand why they increased my sugar medicine but I don't know!! Otherwise she said things were going very well! I got into the dietician sooner and go next week. I am ready for her input!! I have a call into this program where they will pay for my eye exam and my new glasses! I also have to go to the dentist but cannot get in until September!! I have to have all this checked due to my diabetes because it can affect all those things!! It is getting quite costly!! But I feel sooooo much better!! My tattoo feels so much better. It looks good. My brother smacked it last night which really hurt but otherwise it is good!! I am getting 2 more!!! Cody's name on my ankle and angel wings on my lower back with my nephew's name on it!! I am excited!!

I forgot to post about my doctor's visit on Thursday! She said I was doing really well and to keep it up! My sugar was better but some still high so she increased my medicine by half a pill a night! She said I was one of the few patients she had that actually listened to her and am doing what they are supposed to!! I am going to beat this and refuse to go on insulin!! I have to get some bloodwork done because my liver enzymes are a little high!!So I have to do that and then Wednesday I have to go see the health educator again! I am kind of excited to see the dietician because I really want her input on things. It gets difficult sometimes!! Should I eat that? Can I have that? But we will see. I am down 14 pounds by her scale and 19 by mine!! Hmmmm...I think I'll go by mine!! :>)

Man, I am so tired today!! I don't know why!! I haven't done anything at all today!! And I mean sbsolutely nothing!!! Maybethat is why I am so tired plus it is about that time of the month :>(!! Grrr....who knows! I need to start my walking on a daily basis again!! I have been kind of lazy!! I just get frustrated sometimes!! Wondering what to eat and what not to eat!! Wondering if my blood sugar is high or low!! It is just frustrating sometimes!! Thank goodness I have Arron around or I would probably just give up and not even try!! He asks me all the time how I am, what my sugar is, how proud he is of me!! It helps me so much!! I did get a tattoo today!! I was gonna put it on my ankle but it turned out kind of big so I put it on my back. It is a heart with Arron's name!! I know they say you put a name on yourself and the relationship is doomed. But me and Arron have been through SOOOO much in our relationship that a little tattoo is not going to break us up!!! I like it!! My next one is going to be Cody's name!

Cody woke up with a fever today!! He has had a little cough but not too bad mostly allergy sympyoms. But he seems ok now! I hope it was only a fluke because I really don't want to go to the doctor today!! Who knows!! He got on Renea's slip and slide yesterday. I couldn't believe it! He wouldn't go near it last year!! He got a citizenship award last Friday at school. He was so shocked. He didn't know he was getting one and then he walked down the aisle to get one and he was doing a wrestlers entrance and Arron got called out by the principal for being too loud!!! My boys!! So proud!! :>) Now if I can just get him to gain some weight...life would be good!!

My best friend has really ticked me off!!! She has said that for the last two days she would take me out to eat for my birthday which was in April and I haven't heard nothing from her!! It kind of aggravates me!! It isn't even that fact that I didn't get to go but don't tell me your going to do something and then not do it!! :>( I am kind of use to it now!!! she is like that all the time!! And she doesn't even ask me how I am doing! My other friends always ask me how I am doing or ask if I need help or want to walk with me. I love her to death but sometimes I wonder why I am friends with her at all!!

Today is Memorial Day!! Eight years ago my nephew Josh died in a four wheeler assident!! I will never forget him!! He was like my other son!!! It is just so hard for me to get over!! But for some reason this year I just cannot cry!! I take flowers out to his grave and usually sit on the bench and just cry but this year I guess I am just all cried out!! I still miss him. Miss him running in my back door and asking what there was to eat!! He use to live right across the street and he would call if someone strange was in my driveway and ask if I needed him to come over! My big protector!! :>) I love you Joshie!!! Rest in peace baby!! I think I might even get a tattoo of Joshie somewhere!! Who knows. My mom will be so proud!! :>)

Ok so yesterday my landlord called harassing me about the rent! Well she called back when I was picking up Cody and now she is all worrried about how I am going to pay my medical bills because I have no insurance!! Why are you suddenly so concerned about it?? Well I am on a program right now where they pay 75% and I pay the rest so it isn't so bad until I get my ER bill! But she said she would check back with me because she was going to help me pay my doctor bills!! Now just a few hours before you were griping because I owed you sooooo much money but now you are willing to give me money? WTF? I am so confused!!! But I guess I will appreciate what I can get. It just confuses me!!!

Ok...so my landlord is at it again!!! I missed April because of all the issues going on and I am going to pay it as soon as I can!! Well, she is calling saying I am way far behind!! Whatever!! A month and a half is all I am behind!! As I said before she is a family member and you think she could cut me a break. I mean my brother lived here and never paid rent!!! WTF!!! I used our tax rebate for some other things and it wasn't even as much as it should've been!! I am very stressed!! I mean my gas bill is $233 and I am putting $100 worth of gas in our cars a week and that is half our paycheck!! Plus I now have to pay for Cody's therapy and all my extra medical bills. You think she would understand!!! I am just very overwhelmed and don't need her b.s.!!! Arron's mom is supposed to give us a loan and I hope it comes soon so I can breathe again!!! And people wonder why I am so stressed out!!!

I just got off the phone with her and let me just say OMG!!! She says I am behind from 2007 which I don't even think so!!! Andthen she says she doesn't care that I am behind she just wanted to let me know before I got further behind!! WHAT?? If you didn't care why are you making such a big deal out of!!! She also said that she loves me and it had nothing to do with that and she truly does love me! Well, if you love me so much why do you only call when you want money? You never call to check on me or Cody and now that I have health issues you haven't even called to check on me but yet you love me so much!! Yet you call my siblings ALL the time!! Whatever!! Well, I am off to go through paperwork to prove her wrong yet again!!!

Arron is just so sweet! He calls me everyone morning and sees what my sugar is and tells me how proud he is of me!! :>) That helps me so much more than he will ever know!! He is helping me so much by worrying about what I eat, if I took my medicine, if I am going to walk. It is just so sweet and I couldn't do it without him!! I am a little stressed today because something has happened in my family and I can't go into details but it has me very worried!!! I just hope everything turns out alright!!

This is Cody's last week of school. He forgot his library book today so I had to run it to school. Little booger! I got him a new bike yesterday. This is the first year he has really shown interest in getting one! He has to use the training wheels but maybe next summer they can come off!!! He is getting so big!! Arron was out watching him and helping him!! He was so proud of himself and he is doing so much better!!

I am dreading this weekend!! It is Memorial Day and I don't like it!! I have to go put all my flowers out on Friday!! But my nephew had his 4-wheeler accident on Memorial Day 8 years ago and than died 3 days later!! So this is a very hard time for me!! I feel like it is my fault!! We were in Texas and he had our 4-wheeler! :>( I feel that if I had just been here!! But we were in Texas because Arron's grandma was dying and he wanted to see her!! It is just very hard on me!! I can't get past it!! He practically lived at my house. He was like my other son!! It is just difficult!!

Wow!! Things around here have been so very busy!! Last week Cody had a field trip on Wednesday. We went to Connor Prarie! It misted a little but wasn't too bad. We didn't get to see everything which upset me but I was with 6 rowdy boys and 2 ladies that all they wanted to do was talk!! So Arron said we would go back because he didn't get to go!! It was very interesting! I also didn't get any pictures because I thought it was supposed to rain all day and didn't want my camera to get wet!! Than on Friday we had to go to Riley!! Just to the dentist but it still makes for a long day!!! His teeth over all look good except he has one that is really worn down and a spot on his gum that we have to monitor but otherwise they are good!!! He is eating better somedays more than others. He has been back in therapy two weeks now and I really think it is helping!! We have a week and 3 days to go before our next weight check and I am hoping and praying that he has gained something!!! We shall see!!

As for me, I am feeling better than I have felt in months!!!! I have lost 19 pounds and my sugars are finally getting lower. I am sleeping SOOO much better!!! It is amazing the difference!! I am working really hard and it has been difficult but I have a wonderful support...Arron...and he has truly helped me. And my friend Beverly who makes me walk almost everyday and even up the hills which I hate!! Thank you Beverly!! ;>)

So I will probably not be able to update much next week because it is so busy with school getting out and Memorial day coming plus I have to go to the doctor!! But I will update as soon as I can!!!

I literally am ready to give up!!! This is the first time in the 11 years that Cody has been alive and sick that I have truly wanted to give up for real!! I took him to the doctor May 9 for a cough and runny nose and that was 2 weeks into our month weight check and he had lost yet another pound!! :>( What am I doing wrong? I try all the foods that he will eat. I give him extra of the foods he eats. I give him whatever foods he wants!! i even give him extra formula with all of his pump feeds!! I am truly at the end of my rope. I think there may be something else going on! I don't know if he is refluxing badly again! I don't know if he isn't absorbing the food!! I am so confused and sad and frustrated and mad!! I just don't know what else to do!! I get so frustrated because when it is time for him to eat orally he says "I have to eat again" or "What do i have to eat now"!! It is aggravating! Then it takes him FOREVER to eat even the smallest amount of things!! GRRRR.....I have 2 more weeks and then I guess we will see what happens!! I just want to throw in the towel and cry!!! :>(

Ok, last Friday I sent Cody to school with some money because the 5th graders were having an economics fair where they were selling little things. Well, leave it to Cody to come home with pink and orange hair!!!! Whoa!!!! He had it all down his neck and on his ears and clothes! He wanted to go to the bowling alley that night with it like that! Crazy!! It took me 3 times washing it to get it out!!! Agghhhhh......but he looked cute!!! :>)

I know I haven't posted for a little while but I am going to do that now!! First of all with Cody!! He was approved for the therapy shloarship!! WOOHOO!!!! So he starts back to OT and Speech today!! They didn't apply for PT as Ot and Speech are more important right now!! Everyone on the committee was wondering why they hadn't come to them sooner! They said if Cody needs the help then he is going to get it!!! My popular little guy!!! LOL!!! On the weight front...he has lost again!! I am getting so discouraged because I am trying everything!! Dr. Hughes said to give him extra food so I am trying!! I am even giving him extra formula!!! I am so frustrated and we have a month for a weight gain and if not I don't know what will happen!!! So once again I am praying and keeping my fingers crossed!!! Otherwise he is doing ok!! He is having some sinus and allergy issues so I am probably going to have to take him back in for that!!! He came home yesterday with a headache!!! I am hoping it was just his sinuses! By mid afternoon he was fine and outside playing!!! Hmmmm....

As for me...I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and I am borderline diabetic!! She put me on a sugar medicine and an anti-depressant! She hit the nail right on the head about how I felt. And let me just say I have not felt this good for months!!1 I am sleeping better. My energy level is coming back. I feel great!! If my allergies would just get under control I would be wonderful!!! Me and my friend Beverly walk almost everyday and if she can't go Arron goes or my dad and I go for a bike ride!!! I have such a wonderful support system!! I am trying to watch what I eat and drink...NO pop for almost 4 weeks!!! That is a record!!! I have lost 12 pounds and I feel great!! My sugar is doing better. It is higher in the morning for some reason!! I have to go back to the doctor May 22! So we will see! I went to the health educator yesterday and she said I was doing everything right and I had a good attitude!! I have to go to the dietician in June. I am going to beat this thing!! It is not going to beat me!! So that is pretty much all that is new!! Arron is very busy since Ball State is getting out! So this is a hard time of year because he is very rarely home!! But that is ok. This to will pass!!

Cody got a bowling trophy and 2 plaques on Saturday!! Him and Arron placed 2nd in the stryker 8 tournamnet so they got a plaque. And his trophy was for his high game average of 82. His other plaque was for high league average with a handicap of 462!! I am so proud of him!! And everyone at the bowling alley was cheering for him! It was awesome!! He started his have a ball league last week and is on it with 3 of his friends!! They are having the best time!! Arron and I are on a different have a balll league with his cousins!!! It is so much fun!! So we are doing alot better!! And I just wanted to update! I will put some pictures of Cody with his trophies up later. I have to go with my dad to get my tire fixed!!! Well, I usually post about Cody but not right now!! I am so frustrated and upset right now!! I ended up in the ER Friday morning because it seriously felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest!!! Well, more than likely it was a panic attack but through all the other tests they found out my blood sugar is high!! My blood pressure was also high!! So they were like get you a family doctor and get in there now. Well, that is easier said than done with no insurance and NO money!!! So I called Open Door and have an appointment there tomorrow. I am so nervous!! I don't want to do this the rest of my life!! I cut out all the pop and been watching what I eat and it is still not been below 180 and I have been checking it for 5 days now!! Aghhhhhh!!!!! Then I am trying to deal with this and cut out my stress which is virtually impossible and Arron's aunt keeps telling me I am very bad and I am going on insulin immediately. I don't need this from her!!!! It is just frustrating and I hate that it has happened but the whole heart thing was a wake up call and I will fight this and I will win!!! Me and my friend Beverly started walking yesterday and she is looking up meal plans for me instead of saying you are in bad shape, she is helping me!!! Thank you Beverly!!! Arron has been wonderful!! He is very stressed about it!!! He is helping me and won't let me do anything!! :>) What a sweetie!!! I will feel much better after tomorrow!!!
As for Cody...he has a weight check on Friday. I hope he has gained something even if it is just a little bit!!! I am still waiting to hear from his therapy schloarship!! Hopefully soon!! The medicaid is now in the doctors hands!!! He is getting a cold again!!! Always something!!!! He has a party at school today so I am getting ready to go to that!!! Well I will update when I know something!!

Well, I got a phone call last week about Cody's therapy. It was the lady who runs the therapy department! She told me that the department has schloarships and they usually only use them for the kiddos whose regular insurance won't pay but since there were so many Medicaid kiddos getting denied she is extending the schloarships to them as well. So I am trying to get a hold of the financial aid lady and fill out an application and they meet on Thursday to see if he qualifies. It would only cost us $50 a month and only because they want people who are serious about it to receive the schloarships!!! And as soon as his new Medicaid kicks in we won't have to pay the $50!! I so hope he qualifies!! He needs to get back into therapy!!! Especially since is OT at school has all but given up on him!!! GRRRRR!! She told me that since he has the computer to help with his assignments and he hasn't shown any improvement with his handwriting in the last 3 years, she didn't feel the need to see him but only once a nine weeks!!! WHAT???? I thought she was seeing him every 2 weeks!! Isn't that your job? To help him with his handwriting issues? If you just give up, he won't want to do it at all!!! Ugh...why do I always get stuck dealing with stupid people? So, now I am going to have to go back into school and have yet another meeting about the OT. I thought she would want to help him more since he was denied his weekly one! Boy was I wrong!!! I am so aggravated and frustrated right now!!! I will be so glad when all of this is done and over with!!!!
And Cody has to go back next week for another weight check. We were doing good and only had to go in every month but he has lost 2 pounds in the last month and a half. So, now we are on weight watch again!! Every 2 weeks!! Although last Monday he had gained 3/4 of a pound. I guess I'll take it where I can get it!! I don't know what else to do! His eating comes and goes. The foods he wants doesn't have the calories that he needs!! It is so frustrating!! If he doesn' start gaining some good weight he may have to go back on the pump full time and he doesn't want that!!!
So for now we are keeping our fingers crossed and our toes.......:>)

Did you ever just feel like you wanna throw in the towel and say forget it? I sure do. Here lately it is like everything I do is never right!! Just like this whole Medicaid thing! It isn't going to affect his Medicaid now but what if I didn't give all the information I should have and I ruin it?! What if he never gets therapy back? And now he is sick again. Hoping and praying tha it doesn't go into pneumonia! So therefore he is on steroids and is grouchy and I guess it is with everyone not just us!! He got in trouble in the lunch room! Ugh....Plus he is still losing weight! He did gain 3/4 of a pound this week. I guess you take it where you can get it! We have a weight check in 2 weeks and I am afriad if he doesn't gain that he will have to go back on the pump! And he doesn't want that! I am just overwhelmed right now and need a break!!

I cannot believe that March is over and it is now April! That means that school is just about over!!! Spring Break just flew by. We were so busy!! Cody was hardly ever home. He stayed with my brothers girlfriend 2 days, my friend 1 day, and my mom another That is crazy! He is just getting too big!!! We were planning his birthday party that's why we were so busy! His party went very well. I just couldn't get over that Todd and Jackie called and wanted to do things with us and Cody! Wow! So we did and it was fun!! I still am keeping my birthday a secret!!! :>) Plus we had Reilly a few times that week when Norman wasn't making an a** out of himself! I had lunch with a couple of old friends. It was nice, jut went too fast!

We had Cody's IEP meeting on Tuesday! I thought it had went pretty well. They are going to mainstream him next year but he will be pulled out for his math and some of his reading. He will also have an aid! We got the teacher we wanted and they are even putting him with Nathan and not with one that we don't want him with!! ;>) They are very willing to work with him. I just love that principal. He said Cody was ornery!! Ya think? LOL! I guess he is a little girl crazy ut they said most boys get that way at this age!! Thanks!! I am so not ready for that!! Well, i had asked if we could increase OT because he wasn't getting it in town and they said probably! Well, the OT called me that night and she doesn't think he needs it and doesn't want too. I found out she was seeing him every 9 weeks and I thought she was seeing him every 2 weeks!! She thinks since he has a computer tht we should just give up on his handwriting! WHAT? Isn't that your job. I told her I was ok with that but the more I think about it the more ticked off I get!! So I think I am going to go have another meeting with his teacher and get her advice!!! Ugh.....

Then I get a letter from Medicaid saying I have a phone interview next week. I am kind of nerrvous. If this affects the Medicaid he has now I am going to be ticked!!! But we shall see!! i don't know what my life would be like if I didn't have some kind of stress where Cody is concerned!! I am tired of dsealing with stupid people that think they know Cody better than me!!!GRRRR.................................:>(

My little baby boy turned 11 yesterday!!! I cannot believe it! It seems like yesterday we were in the NICU hooked up to every tube and machine known to man!!! I never dreamed that when Cody was born with all of his issues that we would make it this far!! The doctors even told us he wouldn't make it past 3!!! HA!! What do they know!! But of course Cody has to do everything different and backwards so he had to prove them wrong!!!I wouldn't trade the past 11 years for nothing!!! I love Cody the way he is and wouldn't change a thing!! People always ask me if I could, would I want a "healthy, normal" baby! Well, Cody is my normal and I probably wouldn't know what to do with a healthy child! I know what to do with Cody and what he needs. What is normal anyway? Your normal may be different than my normal!! I wouldn't change a thing!!!

He has turned into such a little man!! He was telling people on Easter that the next day was his birthday and they would wish him Happy Birthday and he would say thank you. He also hugged everyone before I even told him too. And he was thanking everyone and giving hugs yesterday and I didn't even have to tell him too. At the bowling alley on Saturday mornings, I have had so many people tell me that he is so well behaved and not acting up like the other kids. I am so very proud of him. For him to be that polite and friendly and happy after all the hell he has been through is just amazing!!! I love him so much and he is growing up so fast!!!

We took him to Chuck E. Cheese with 2 of his friends and he had a blast!! Then of course he had to go to the doctor! I actually took him for his button and he does have a little cough. Well, guess what? Either his asthma is flaring up or it is the start of pneumonia!! Never fails. He has had pneumonia 4 out of 5 of his last birthdays!!! Crazy!! So antibiotics again!!! He is acting better today! We went bowling last night with my brother and Jackie...can you believe that one?? Cody had a good time. I BEAT TODD!!!! WOOHOO!!! His party is Saturday and I am taking him and some of his friends bowling that night!! So it should be fun!!! I will post some pictures of my lil' man tomorrow because I am going to lunch right now!!

This is me and my sweetie shortly after we got married 12 years ago. We were living in Texas so that is why he is wearing a cowboy hat!!! These have been some of the happiest years of my life!! Of course we have had our ups and downs but who doesn't!! And mostly we have ups. I could not imagine my life without him!!! I love you babycakes!!:>)

These are my 2 hunters!!! My 2 favorite guys!!! It was Halloween and Cody wanted to be a hunter just like his daddy!!! 2 peas in a pod!!! He has a little bow and they do target practice together! He always goes with Arron to call the deer in and he actually has called in 3 does!! My handsome guys!!!

Well, it is finally the weekend!!! Yeah!! We are not going bowling tonight. We were supposed to go to our cousins spring festival but Arron is working late and I am going with my mom!!! We are taking Cody in the morning to league and then we are going to see Horton Hears a Who! We are looking forward to it!! And then back to bowling tomorrow night. Hopefully Arron will win some more money. He won $25 last time!!! Woohoo!!! Then finally Sunday (hopefully) I can sit at home and do absolutely nothing but watch the race and work on my scrapbook!!! I am doing the dogs books right now!! I finished Keloe's and Henry's but now I am doing Daisy's and Biscuits!!! I ordered some of my scrapbook supplies that my sister took and I am enjoying scrapping by myself!! This way I don't have to share!! :>) Next month after Cody's birthday and Easter, I am going to order a couple more things!! i am so excited.

I told Susan to bring me my tax papers 2 weeks ago and I have her cookie money and still haven't heard from her!! How annoying!!! When and if she ever shows up i am going to give her Todd's book and tell her to finish it. I did most of it and since she took all of our supplies (she doesn't know I have new stuff) she can finish it!!! It's just aggravating. Then they want to go Cosmic bowling with us for Cody's birthday. Like they care all of a sudden!! Thank goodness all our other friends will be there!!! They went to grandma's the other day again!! I wish they would just take mom down there to see her because I don't want to and it relly upsets her!! What is the big deal!!! I feel like I am being pulled and I am tired of it!!! Like they won't talk to me because I hang around with mom. So what? Who else is going to do it!!! She doesn't really bother me too bad and Arron likes the attention because he doesn't get it from his own mother!!! Very tough and annoying situation and frankly I am sick of it!!!!

As for Joe (my neighbor), I guess he is doing better. He is off the ventilator and awake. They are going to try to get him home by next week. But they have to do more surgery in 3 months and they said he would probably be sicker!! Crazy!!! I am still worried about him so much!!!

Cody is doing ok. He is getting a cough again. I am trying to wait to take him in until next week. Hopefully he won't get worse! His teacher at school and his OT at school got him a computer to do his work on since he struggles with his handwriting so bad. I didn't even have to go in and talk to them or anything. He brought it home the other night and typed out a whole story and I had to tell him to turn it off because it was bed time!! He has never done that! He was so proud of himself and not frustrated. I just love his teacher!! He is about to be 11. My lil' man is growing up!!!:>( He is still struggling with the whole eating thing but I have come to the conclusion that this is going to go on forever. I just get frustrated sometimes and just don't know what else to do!! I hope he gets back into therapy very soon!!!!

I just want to go to bed and stay there for a few days!!!!!! So I have just spent the last hour filling out the stupid Medicaid form to change his Medicaid to Medicaid Disability!!! Ughhhhh...I hope it is worth it!! I hope it goes through soon so we can get Cody back into therapy. I am also very upset about my neighbor. He is in ICU in Indy and isn't doing so well. His pancrease is failing!! He use to always stop me outside when he was getting his mail and ask me how the little fellow was doing and he always said he enjoyed seeing Cody outside!!! I am just so worried about him!! I lost sleep over it last night!! Ughhhh.....too much too deal with!! I am just extremely tired and don't want too do anything!!!

Man I feel like yucky today! I am very tired!!! I had a horrible dream about my brother and I don't want to talk about it. But I woke up and had tears on my cheeks!!! Very scary. I just hate that our relationship has come to this but what can you do? Same with my sister. We use to be so close. Sometimes it does upset me! But anyway....

I talked to a Medicaid person. She called the house last Friday and I talked to her Monday! She said we are going to try to get Cody switched to Medicaid Disability instead of Managed Medicaid. That is why we are having trouble they manage everyting!! Whereas with the other they wouldn't and he would be back in therapy!!! Woohoo....but it could take 90 days!! I went to get the application and they were rude and told me to do it online. I am just very confused!! So hopefully it will all work out!!! I hope so!!

Well, I am going to go eat and go to bed...I am tired!!

Well, we went to wrestling on Sunday and can I just say...WOW!!! I would've posted yesterday but my computer was acting up! It was awesome. we were so close to the ring...8 rows from it. Plus we were on the aisle and it was the aisle where the wrestlers waled out to the ring!1 We got to high five almost all of them!!! :>) I high fived Matt Hardy and Jaime Noble. How cool is that!!! Edge was there and Cody cannot stand him and when he was walking down Cody was screaming Edge stinks so Edge came over and got right in Cody's face and they stared each other down for like a minute. It was so cool and now when you talk to Cody about Edge he gets madder and madder. It is so funny!!! Then when we left we were on the top and we saw most of them walking out and getting into their cars and we screamed at them and they screamed back. It was so cool!!! We had a blast. Cody had such an awesome time...we will definitely be going back next year!!!

I have this friend and she is really ticking me off. She says I should've told them that Cody is disabled and they would have put him in the ring. What? I seriously doubt they would have come and yanked Cody up and took him to the ring or backstage for that matter. And so what we didn't have front row seats. We were on the aisle where they come out. How much beter could it have gotten? There were other disbaled people there (worse than Cody) and they weren't getting special treatment. We got those tickets all by ourselves without using Cody's disabilities. I don't like to use that to get special treatment. She just pisses me off when she says stuff like that. Cody said that he couldn't believe she would say that!! They wouldn't have done things differently. Grrrrr.....she just aggrivates me sometimes. And she has her mom and daugther thinking that way too. Poor pitiful Cody that's what they always say!! Whatever. Can you just listen to how good of a time he had and for once see past his disability? Everyone else we have talked to about wrestling has not once said you should've told them. No one but her!!!! Aghhhhh!!!!!

Well, I have calmed down a little bit. Arron and I are back on track. As for my brother and sister...I have come to the conclusion that things are never gonna be the same and for the life of me I do not know why. He called me and said he was going to bring the coins out. Now, my next dilemna with that is my mom has no idea they gave them to me and they don't want her to know...not even my grandmother. How rude? Now, if she finds out I have them she will be mad at me for not telling her. But my dad knows about it too. I am so confused. Don't they think she deserves anything? I mean it was her father!! Ugh.....they have put me in a really bad situation!! He is asking Cody about his bowling like he cares. I am kind of glad they don't come to watch him because they would probably just laugh at him becasue they do that when Arron plays softball. Like they are so perfect at everything!!! I orered my scrapbook stuff today! Who needs them? I can do it all by myself. In fact, its kind of better that way!!

Anyway...on a happier note. Cody did very well at bowling today! He got a 62, 43, & a 65. He beat his average on every game! He is so proud of himself. My mom went to watch him today! No one else seems to care enough to go. We went last night too and his high game was a 70. And of course we are going tonight too!! It's fun and we get to be with family and each other!! And then tomorrow is WWE!!!! I am so excited!!! We got posterboard so we can make signs. They are neon green!! I will have to blog after it's done and tell all about it!!

I have a feeling that this one is going to be a long one. I am just in a mood today and I need to get it out before I explode. It actually started last night!

My brother called me! We don't get along to well. Sometimes we do and sometimes we don't. Him and my sister get along great and always talk and do stuff without me. What have I done that they don't include me? Sometimes it bothers me but most of the time it doesn't. WEll him and my sister have ben going to see my grandma which doesn't bother me as bad as it does my mom. Me and my grandma don't get along too well but that's a whole other blog!!! :>) Well he calls me and says that my grandma has been giving him things that belonged to my grandpa. What? I was closer to grandpa then any of them and she hasn't offered me jack sh**!! I know that sounds greedy but if you give to one, shouldn't you give to all three? It was some coins that my grandpa collected. Now mind you they aren't worth anything but it's the principle. Well, he tells me he is going to give me some because they are duplicates of the ones he has!! Thanks for thinking of me big bro. Jerk!!! Don't even bother. I wonder what else he has that he isn't telling me about. My sister too. She used to scrapbook with me every weekend and now she came and picked up all the stuff and hasn't even mentioned scrapbooking. What have I done? It just baffles me. But when she wants a sitter guess who she calls first. It is so frustrating!!! Me and my brother share the same birthday and we used to hang out together on it but the last couple of years he ruined my plans so I decided to do my own thing and I have already planned this year with a bunch of friends. Sorry bout ya!!! My brother has been telling Cody for 3 weeks that he would come and watch him bowl and hasn't shown up yet. Quit telling my kid something and disappointing him. But he always pulls this crap with Cody. Grrrrrr!!!

Then me and Arron are into it. I am having some female issues so therefore the things in the romance department aren't that good. Yeah I am concerned and I go back to the doctor next month but please bear with me. I don't feel that a marriage is all about sex, but lately I feel that he does!! Grrrrr....I wish we had insurance so I could go to a doctor and just tell him that I feel like sh** all the time!!! I have frequent headaches. I hurt all the time. I am sick of all the female issues. I am tired all of the time. Calgon take me away!!!! :>(

And then Dh's car isn't running and hasn't been for about 2 weeks and I have been having to have my mom take me everywhere!! :>( So we took it to the mechanic. Well, the spark plugs and wires were bad and the fuel pump. Well for him to get the part and put it on...$650. For us to get the part and have him put it on...$410! Hmmmm.....bye bye tax money. It is just amazing to me that we have went through $5000 in like 3 weeks. But I guess we got things we needed and wanted so what does it matter. It was money we wouldn't have had anyway!!! Plus we have our state coming and if good ole Bush comes through with the rebate checks. Crazy!!!

I am just in a griping mood. And one of my good friends was in a car wreck yesterday so I am worried about her! Things have to start looking better!! One can hope anyway!!

He got neutered on Friday and he has been so pitiful. He wouldn't even walk on Friday. That scared me because it reminded me of Chico before he passed. But he is doing better everyday. I have babied him so much that I think he is going to start expecting it al the time! :>) Now as for Biscuit, you can't even tell he had anything done. He came home Friday and was running around like a mad dog and into everything!!! It was so hard on Thursday because we didn't have them here. I am just glad they are home and on the road to recovery...at least Keloe. Biscuit is just crazy!!!
Last night I was sleeping on the floor with the dogs because they still can't jump very well and I heard this loud boom. It vibrated the floor and scared the dogs. I looked around and couldn't see anything and then I started hearing all these sirens but it didn't sound like they were going too far. Well, I got up and they were at the barn right next too us. Something in there exploded and caught on fire. Crazy and scary!!
I cannot wait til Sunday. WWE here we come. I am very excited. Some of my favorites are going to be there!! Woohoo.

Well, I stayed home today so I cold spend some
time with my puppies! I took them tonight to the vet and had to leave them because they are getting fixed tomorrow! It just killed me to leave them there. It doesn't seem right not having them around my feet are in my lap! But it will help them in the long run! Gonna be a long night!!! We are also in for some bad weather! So since I am missing my puppies so much...I am going to post a picture of them!!! The first one is my sweetie Biscuit. He loves popsicles and enjoys sharing them with his daddy! :>)The second one is my baby Keloe and Cody was calling him Little Pink Riding Hood! LOL!!

Well, what a day already. We woke up to about 2 or 3inches of snow and no delay. Unbelieveable!!! Then Kelly called griping to Arron about plowing some drives and he wanted to take Cody to school. Well, his car wouldn't start so mom had to take Cody and Arron went ahead and left because she was bit*****!!! Some people!! I feel like crap. I think it was something I ate yesterday. Cody coughed some through the night! Poor guy! I hope it is just a cold!! We will see. I took him to the doctor yesterday just to see and he said he looked and sounded good but to let him know. I also had him check his button. He just laughs at me but I am paranoid and until I get more used to it, I told him he would be seeing more of us! :>) I did actually check the water in the balloon but I am still unsure of how far to pull and to push!! I am getting braver though!! Dr. Hughes said it was fine!! I just don't want to hurt Cody!! he was being so silly at the doctors office. dr. Hughes really loves his patients and we really love him!! Tonight we have to go to Arron's cousin, Nicholas, blue and gold dinner for Boy Scouts. I think we might put Cody in it next year!! He doesn't have to participate in anything that he doesn't think he can do!!! So that will be good!! Hopefully today will get better. Tomorrow I have to take my puppies to the vet. I am very sad about this!!! :>(

Busy, busy, busy.....

I have been really busy lately and haven't had time to blog. But there were also a couple of days that I just did not feel good. Like I said things have been very busy around here!! I went to Cody's Valentine's Day party at school. They watched Snow Buddies and ate some snacks!! It was fun. Then we went bowling again on Friday. Cody did very good in league on Saturday! He had three spares and his high game was a 63! :>) They called is name over the intercom!! I am so proud of him. Then Saturday afternoon we had a birthday party and was back at the bowling alley to watch our cousin in a tournament then Cody and a bunch of his friends bowled Saturday night while Arron bowled roulette! It was a busy day but we had a lot of fun!! Then Sunday we just kind of stayed around here and watched the race and was lazy!! Cody is out of school today so I took him and my niece to Chuck E Cheese!

I talked to Cody's teacher last week and we kind of discussed what we are going to do next year. Cody is in the resource room right now with 5 other kids. Well, nexy year we are going to mainstream him and see how he does. He will still work at his pace and have an aid with him to help him. I think he will do ok but they need not pressure him because I don't want a repeat of 2nd grade because they will get told. He struggled really bad in 2nd grade and the teacher was a biddy and just made things worse! So we will see.

I was reading some other ladies blog about having special needs kids and it kind of got me to thinking!! People say the darnedst things when your kid is sick and they don't realize that they are saying it! Like with Cody, he doesn't eat and people are totally confused about why. So when I explain it they still don't understand. They are like why don't you just give him food, why don't you force him, or my favorite is he would get hungry enough to where he would eat!! So I am supposed to starve my kid because he won't eat and doing that will make him eat? Hmmmmm......

I have one friend and she says things that I know she doesn't mean in a hurtful way but that is how they come out. Like in gym...they were playing dodgeball and the kids pretty much know Cody and how much he can take. Well, one kid deliberately hit him in the head. The principal handled it and took the kid out of gym. She went nuts. They kid tried attempted murder and could've really hurt Cody. She even wanted me to go off on the kids mother. Cody has enough obstacles in life. I want him to be as normal as possible. If I saw that the he was being hurt don't think I wouldn't handled it. She wanted me to pull him out of gym and recess. WHAT???? That is Cody's getaway!! I can't do that!! Ridiculous!!! And she is always poor pitiful Cody and she even has her daugter doing it. There isn't anything pitiful about Cody! It is so aggravating. It's bad enough when you get comments from strangers but when it scoms from your friends....it hurts.

We took Cody to league yesterday. He had a 38, 43, and a 43. He is improving. He has a little cheering section. He got another strike and his eyes got so big. It is so cute too see him! Then he went and stayed with my mom because Arron and I went out with some friends. We went to Ryan's and then to Shout's and listened to a band that wasn't that good. Then we went Cosmic Bowling! It was so much fun!!! It is so nice to actually get out with other adults instead of just kids!! I suck at bowling but we still had a good time. Hopefully we can do it again soon!! It's hard because the only person I trust to keep Cody overnight is my mom and she can't watch him all the time. So it makes it hard. So I enjoy it when I do get out!!

Justin's blood tests came back and they were back in the normal range. They said it wasn't leukemia and he just had an infection!!! Thank God. That is such a huge relief!!! I was so worried!! I am so glad!!
We went bowling again tonight! Well, actually Cody bowled and we watched! He did pretty good. Pratice, practice, practice. Plus he enjoys being with his cousins. And we have some family and friends there we talk to too. He has league tomorrow and then me and Arron are going out with some friends to go Cosmic bowling tomorrow night!! Woohoo! I can't wait. A night out...yeah!!

Arron's little cousin in Texas is very sick!! He is my little guy. We lived there when he was little and we were very close to him!! He has some similar issues that Cody has and they even had the same doctors there like 4 of them!! Now his blood counts are way out of whack and he is just sick!! They are thinking leukemia but they are doing more tests today and he may have to go to Dallas tomorrow!!! I am very nervous. I hope and pray that it is nothing too serious. It saddens me that we are so far away but we had to do what was right for Cody and for my snity and that was to come home to Indiana!! I love you Justin and hope you get some good tests results!! Praying very hard....

I am feeling better today, just a little stiff and still with a headache. But much better than a few days ago!! Thank goodness I was getting very scared!! I think I was making it worse by thinking it was something worse than what it was!! I think a good night of slep and probably a new mattress would do the trick!!!

I am feeling a little better today!! I slept a little better last night and if my puppies would stay asleep and it would quit storming so Cody could sleep, maybe I could sleep all night!!! My neck still hurts a little. I had Arron put some icy hot on it last night and I had the worst reaction to it. It seriously felt like I was burning!!! Ouch!! So my mom got me some heat wraps to put on it and it does feel better but I still have a headache. I really need some sleep!!! But my ear is much better!!! I hope I am much better before Saturday because we are going bowling with a group of our friends!! Rest, rest, rest!!!

I still have the pain in my neck on the left side and it goes all the wasy up to my head. My ear feels like I am in a cave and feels like there is alot of pressure in it!! I can't sleep at night because I can't get comfortable because of the neck pain!! I am so tired and hurt so bad. I am kind of nervous because I have never felt this way!! My ear does that alot but never with the neck pain or headache!! I just hope it goes away very SOON!!! I am hoping it is just my sinuses!! Ughhh.........

My silly boy! Just had to throw a picture of him in there!! What a funny funny boy! We took him bowling last night and I let him him bowl 4 games and he did so much better. Cody started his bowling league today! He was so cute. He of course got frustrasted but it was his first time!! He did get a strike! Woohoo!! I felt so guilty when all the other kids were out there and kind of knew what they were doing! Am I a bad mom for keeping him from sports. I was always so paranoid with his tube and his pump plus kids his age are so much bigger than him. I was always afraid he would get hurt. But now I feel guilty. Believe me, if I had known they had a kids bowling league he would have been in it a long time ago!!! It is non contact plus he can wear his pump if needed. I just hope he doesn't resent me one day for keeping him fron things. I hope he understands. Plus, up until the last couple of years he was to sick. His asthma and breathing troubles kept him from doing much!! I just ope this bowling thing works out and his good for him. He bowls with his cousin and has already made some new friends! Plus his Aunt is going to take him every friday and help him pratice. So hopefully this will be a good thing for him!!!

My poor puppy had to get his final puppy shots today. He has to get his rabies shot at the end of February. He is now 4 months old and weighs more than my 3 year old chichuahua. My landlord, who also happens to be a member of the family, is trying to figure out if I have another dog but no one wants to tell her, although I think another family member already has. She threw a fit when she found out I had one. Well, when another family member lived here they had cats, dogs, birds, you name it. But I can't have two little puppies. Damn! I put all new floors in this house and fixed it up nice at no cost to them and she wants to bit** about two puppies. Gimme a break!!!! I keep this house cleaner than anyone that has lived here. If they do have accidents, Arron does clean carpet for a living...hello!!! I see favoritism here and it sucks!!! She makes a big deal about everything!!! I am about sick of it!!

This is really starting to become a habit...me gripping about getting Cody's supplies. So yesterday they were supposed tocall in his antibiotic and it didn't go through. So I called them today and she said she would take care of it. Well, Walgreens called and said it had been delayed. So I called them. They didn't have any in stock. So I was like what are we supposed to do now? He was supposed to have it yesterday!!! She said I guess we can call another store. I said I guess your gonna have to!! So instead of me getting it at 2:00, I will now be getting it at 6:00. Grrrr......hopefully my complaining about pumps and supplies and medicines are over with for a while!!! Hopefully!!!

Last January, Arron and Cody went to Worthen Areana to see WWE Smackdown and ECW. I didn't go but they had so much fun. They were really close to the ring and one of Cody's favorite wrestlers pointed right at him and was talking to him. Well, they are coming back March 2 and this time I am going! WOOHOO! Some of my favorite guys are going to be there this time!! I am excited and Cody doesn't know for sure if we are going or not. That would be a good early birthday present!! I really want to take him since we missed Monster Jam. I am really excited about it!! They are coming to Conseco March 3 but I don't know about that one!! Well, of course we couldn't wait until Wednesday or Thursday to call the doctor back. Cody was up half the night coughing and wheezing and gagging and his nose is stopped up or it's running. Poor guy!! So I called the Doctor today especially since he is going to be out on Wednesday. So back on antibiotics we go. Fun, fun. I have to get him better. He starts bowling Saturday and we are going bowling with the family Saturday night!! Always something!!!!
Arron is having a bad day. I just let him vent when he gets like this. I know he is frustrated with his job but he isn't going to find another one with the pay and hours and he can pretyy much do whatever he wants. hopefully things will get better!!
And then there is Apria yet again. Can I just say grrrrrrr!!!! I ordered Cody's monthly feeding supplies. now they know he has had this new button since November. Well, of course they sent the wrong extensions so now I have to call them back again. I get so frustrated with those people!!! Grrrrrr...why does everything have to be so difficult?

Well, as I posted yesterday I did indeed take Cody to see Dr. Hughes today!! He was up half the night coughing. So, I took him in this morning. He is probably starting another sinus infection but Dr. Hughes said to give him 'til Wednesday or Thursday to see which way we are going, asthma or sinuses!! I also made him look at his button. This one still scares me. The last one Cody had was a Bard and the G-tube nurse had to change it. Well, that one started leaking sooo bad that they put in this AMT mini which has a balloon. Cody has not had a balloon button for like10 years and even when he did Arron changed because I am too squimish!! Anywho, I asked Dr. Hughes to check it and he called me a weenie. As if...but he did put some more water in the balloon and made it a little tighter. Shewww...at least I didn't have too. LOL!!! But the best part of all was that since December 13 Cody has gained 2 1/2 pounds!!! WOOHOOO!!!! That is totally awesome. He is at 55 1/2 pounds!! I am always so nervous with the weight checks but WOW!!!! He also grew 1/2 an inch which explains why all of his pants are getting too short!! He is 4 foot tall. My little booger is growing up!!! On more of a depressing note.....therapy. this is a very touchy subject with me right now. But today was the first day I have gotten to talk to Dr. Hughes about it since he had been on sick leave. He said that we are doing everything possible to get it re-instated. It is just a wait and see thing! Grrrr. They are weeding out the older kids that have been there the longest and don't hink they can go any farther. Who are they to judge my kid against another one to determine what he needs? Every kid is diffferent. It is so frustrating!!! I just hope and pray they can get it fixed SOON!!!!!!!!

Right after Christmas, we went to Arron's cousin's son's birthday party at the PlayStation and they got to play laser tag. It was a blast. Arron and Cody had so much fun. Cody came in 7th out of 11. He really enjoyed it. I think the big boys had more fun than the little guys!!! It is definitely something we will have to do again soon!!

Well, today has been kind of a busy day! We had 2 birthday parties to go too. One was Cody's friend he has had since preschool and the other was my cousin's baby's! The first one was at Chuck E. Cheese. Wooo, that place was crowded. There was another little boy there that Cody is good friends with but this year he is at the middle school so Cody doesn't get to see him much. So that was fun!!! Now I am just ready to relax. I should be cleaning house or doing laundry but I'll do that tomorrow while the boys are away!! I think I am going to take Cody in this week to Dr. hughes. He is back and we have some things to dicuss, i.e. therapy, weight, this pesky cough Cody is getting!!! It has been since December 14 that Cody has seen him, so I do believe we will be paying him a visit!!! But I am signing off for now!!!

R.I.P Uncle Richard....

We buried Arron's Uncle Richard yesterday!! That was a very tough day for everyone!! I have only known Uncle Richard for 8 years but he was a very good man and would do anything in the world for you!! I felt so bad for all of them. Arron's cousin Jimmie was having a very hard time. He was the one who found Uncle Richard. Arron's dad and grandma were very upset. So I was trying to comfort all of them the best I could. They had a military graveside service because he was a sergeant in the Marines. It was very neat. The service was right next to where Arron's grandpa is buried so it was like he was there too. Very cool!!! Cody was upset because he couldn't go to the service but I decided it was better if he wasn't around all that. He got very upset Thursday because he saw Arron and his dad and Jimmie crying so I knew the funeral would be very upsetting for him. So we took him to the bowling alley where alot of the family was and just hung out. It was fun and took our minds off things. Cody got to bowl with his cousins!! They did a moment of silence for Uncle Richard at the bowling alley. He will be sadly missed by everyone. May you rest in peace Uncle Richard and know that we will always love you!!!

I am so sick of the drama!! Just when I thought my pump drama was over....HA!! So I took Cody to school late so I could trade pumps for the new one. I had my dad wait while I took him to school. I told them to be here before 2:30. Grrr...2:15, ya think their here? NOPE!!! So I call. The man I talked to yesterday started to explain why they haven't gotten here yet but stopped himself and said that he would deliver it himself after I picked up Cody!!! Finally after waiting ALL day...he brought and OMG! it was the right one!!! Please, please, please let my pump drama be over. I cannot handle the drama and Arron is telling me to calm down. Has he waited 2 days for a pump? Has he dealt with these idiotic people that don't have a clue what they are doing? No!! I know he works all day and I let him vent. Why can't I do the same? Well, hopefully it's done and over with....

Just when I thought my pump troubles were over...boy was I wrong!!!! :>( So they brought the new pump and very quickly I might add. That should have set off warning signs. Too good too be true. So I get Cody home and try to use the new pump. There is no dose. So now I have to set and watch to see when he is done. Grrrrr....so I called them back. The lady said that athe pumps they use don't have a dose, just a rate. Well, then how come the pump ya all just took from me had a dose? Duh!!!! So she transferred me to our local Apria. That man was clueless and said the pump he was holding didn't have a dose either. Again, the pump ya all just took did and I want another one like it. It would be different if he was on it all day but when he's on an hour or two, we need a dose. So he got another pump and said that one had it and they couldn't bring it til tomorrow. Grrr....so now Cody is going to be late tomorrow so I can change out his pump. Aghhhh.well this day never end????

Seriously...my day started like normal. I got Cody up and got his lunch and pump and backpack ready and everything was fine. Arron took him to school and I laid back down for a little nap. The school calls. Aghhhh!!! It is never good when the school calls! Well, his pump was acting up and wouldn't run. So I tried to explain it over the phone but to no avail. I had to go to school. I get there and mind you I am pretty good at fixing these feeding pumps but he has only ha dthis for about 5 or 6 months. It said something I had never seen before. I tried everything, every trick I know but nothing. I couldn't prime it. I couldn't let it feed him. So by this point I am ticked. So, I could either take him home or bolus feed him. Cody hasn't been bolus fed for about 6 or 7 years because when you feed him this way his sugar bottoms out. But that is what I decided to do. I made the teacher give him snacks throughout the day and hopefully he will be ok. So, I had to call Apria and they said a tech would call and talk to me about it. Well, they ended up just bringing me a new one. Woohoo!!! It is just sometimes when things like this happen I want to just curl up under the covers and hide!!

And today is supposed to be our therapy day and yet again we cannot go because the state says so. It just chaps my behind that they can do this. Well, luckily Cody's therapists is handling it and hopefully she talked to a state senator like she told me she was going to yesterday!! I just think it is so unfar. There are people out there getting these services that don't need them half as much as the kids that got denied. What a wonderful system we have !!! Grrrr......

Anyway...now we have to go to Arron's grandma's tonight and be with the family becuase of Uncle Richard. Arron isn't taking it so well. And since he isn't neither is Cody. Cody cannot stand it if his daddy is upset. Too cute.

Ok...so here is my new precious puppy, Biscuit, that my dad and my wonderful husband bought me for Christmas!! I have always wanted a Yorkie but they were just too expensive!! So I found this one...he is part Yorkie and part Eskimo. Strange, huh? They say he will only be 10 pounds. Looks cute and innocent, doesn't he? Well, don't let hm fool you. Crazy dog!!!! I have had small dogs every since we got married and I have never had one that loves to be out in the cold as much as this one. He will go out into the yard and just sit there and let the wind blow his hair!! I chased him for 15 minutes yesterday!!! And it was only like 5 degrees. Grrrrrr. And the snow...he will not come in. He use to let me hold him but not anymore. He will run from you. He is also into everything!! He is such a brat but I do love him!!!

When Cody was little, any little problem he had I would get very paranoid. We have experienced the worse with him many times so when something went wrong I automatically went into paranoid mode. Well, I haven't felt that way for a very long time. Cody still throws us for a loop sometimes but nothing like in the past! I guess I have gotten use to all his little problems now. Until last night that is. I honestly have to say I have not felt that paranoid for a very, very long time. We were watching a movie and Arron jumped up and said his pump was leaking. Well, there was a hole/crack in the line of the feeding bag. We do have a new puppy and I just thought he had chewed a hole in it. So, we changed the bag. Well, it still would not flow through the extension. Arron flushed it and still nothing. PANIC TIME. I just knew there was something wrong with his button. Well, we finally got it. And I'll be if the second bag didn't have a crack/hole in it too and the pup was no where near this one. So again, we changed it and it took awhile for it to go through his extension. I was almost in tears and couldn't breathe just knowing we were going to have to make a trip to Riley. Well, it finally worked. I kept checking it every five minutes and then I checked it all night! We just chalked it up to defective feeding bags. Thank goodness. I do not miss that paranoid feeling at all!!

But on a much sadder note...Arron's dad called today and they found his Uncle Richard inside his house curled up on the couch and he had passed away. Arron is very upset about it. He is a very family orientated person. He only just started talking to his dad's side of the family about 8 years ago! So he had gotten pretty close to his Uncle Richard and so had Cody and I! So this week is going to be a rough one!!!

Ok...thank goodness it is finally Friday!!!!! It started with my favorite website up and running but now it is down again. How upsetting. Now I do not know how all my new friends' kids are doing!! Hopefully they will get it fixed very SOON!!! Oh and my little scrapbook retreat tomorrow...not going to happen!!! My sister bailed on me. She had already made plans but asked me to go anyway. How Rude!!! Oh well! Now I get to go grocery shopping with my swetie!! I will just scrapbook by myself. Life goes on. But me and my honey are making a pizza and we are going to go see my dad. His birthday was yesterday so we are going to go spend some time with him!

I reallly hate Thursdays. It is Cody's biggest homework night of the week! It is very difficult. He doesn't want to do it and neither do I, so we are argue with each other and it takes forever. Grrrrrrr. But I keep reminding myself that it is going to help him in the long run. I am so glad I am out of school!
Then my favorite website that I always go to is down and has been for 2 days. Again grrrrrr. I miss talking to all my friends on there. I hope it is fixed soon. Arron says I am grouchy when I can't get on there. Aghhhhh.... But thank goodness it is almost the weekend!! Woohooo....time for some football (even though it isn't the Colts) and I am going to a scrapbook getaway on Saturday with my sister!!! So if I could just get through tonight......

Some people are just clueless. Cody has had trouble eating regular food since birth! He has just really started showing signs of interest in more foods and even enjoying very few foods. But those are GIANT steps for Cody!! We have even replaced some of his feedings with real food. Now anyone that truly knows Cody knows how huge that is. Now mind you half the stuff he eats is like snck food. We are looking for calories here, not health stuff. Not yet anyway! Plus you gotta give him what he likes or he won't eat at all. He eats things like chips and some graham crackers. He likes pork n beans and ham and this kid is a huge cheese fan. He must have been a mouse in a previous life. LOL! Anyway I was with a family member the other day and they don't think there is anything wrong with Cody and I should just be shoving food into his mouth! So they ask me "Is Cody eating any real food or still just the snack food?" Ok...this really hit me the wrong way!! First of all, it is even a miracle that Cody is eating ANYTHING. Second, it is really none of their business because they don't seem to care anyway. So I told them, "He is eating some real food but at this point we will take what we can get." She didn't say anything. Grrrr! Do they not remeber when the boy cried if you came anywhere near his mouth with food. What do they want me to do fix him a 3 course meal? Which he wouldn't eat!!!It just sickens me how everyone thinks they can tell me what to do!!! If you think it is that easy, you try doing for a week and see how it goes. Cody has a very strong mind and if he doesn't want to do something he will let you know! And if you force him he will regress so far bck it would be like starting all over!! I wish that person would just keep their opinions to themselves!! I think we are doing good for where we started and how far we've come and I don't need ay negative nellies telling me otherwise!!!

Well, today has been kind of a bittersweet day! It was our first day without therapy for a very very, very long time. Of course we missed when Cody was sick but never like this. It felt very strange not picking him up early and going into town and sitting there for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Yeah it does get old sitting there with nothing to do but it is helping him and I am so willing to do it! It just saddens me that we can't go because the state says so!! Grrrrr......
Then on another sad note...I have this website I go to and it is a great place because alot of kids there have the same issues as Cody and know what we have been through. Well, one of the ladies on there lost her baby last night (Monday night). My heart really goes out to them!! The pain they must be going through. That baby was such a little fighter.
Well, I guess that is enough for today before I get myself upset all over again!!

Cody's therapy

I started this blog so I could tell of life with my Codyman! He is a special needs kiddo! He is tube fed and has other issues as well. Well, he has been in therapy (speech, ot, pt) for a long time because of these issues. Cody has Medicaid and they decided 2 weeks ago that he didn't need therapy and it was not medically necessary. They also said there was no hope of significant progress for this child!! WHAT!!! If they would read the reports they would know how far Cody has come because of therapy and how much further he still has to go! I think it is ridiculous that the future of my son's feeding issues is determined by the state! Grrrrrrrr!!!!! Now we are appealing and fighting and his doctor has gotten involved too! So, hopefully soon we will be able to get back into thereapy! I want Cody to move ahead and not regress! It is just so frustrating but what can you do when you have to rely on the system?

Well, I decided to start a blog. I'm kind of excited about it! But what a night to start. The Clots just lost their playoff game. Grrrrrr!!! But they didn't go out without a fight! And my man Dallas Clark had some very good plays! I wanted them to go all the way just to beat the stupid Patriots!! But that's alright.
